Kathryn White discusses the importance of teaching Samuel Beckett’s work and the impact that it can have on her students.
She also gives details about her research on the biographical festival (such as Happy Days), exploring the implications when writers, such as Beckett, become ‘festivalised’ in various ways.
Kathryn White is a Lecturer in English in the School of Arts and Humanities at Ulster University. She specialises in Modern Irish Writing in English, particularly the works of Samuel Beckett, and has published on him, including the monograph, Beckett and Decay.
