THE RUSSIAN FLAVOUR of this year’s Lughnasa FrielFest continues with this special concert paying tribute to the late Dmitri Hvorostovsky, perhaps the greatest of all Russian baritones, who died late last year.Andrei Bondarenko, the exciting young Ukrainian baritone (who was mentored by Hvorostovsky) performs a recital of Russian music.

Taking place in the Long Tower Church, with its spectacular (and Orthodox-style) interior, this promises tobe a thrilling celebration of Russian song.
